Hospital Pediatric Dentistry The use of a hospital for pediatric dental procedures is to help insure that special needs patients feel comfortable and get the needed dental procedures accomplished well and safely.
Persons who are physically and or mentally handicapped, sick children with high risk of developing complications, patients with serious dental phobias, and children or young adults, who for other compelling reasons, would feel more comfortable in a hospital setting using general anesthesia.
At Children's Dental Health Associates, P.C. our Pediatric Dentists are on the staffs of three regional hospitals: Jennersville Regional Hospital, The Chester County Hospital, & Lancaster General Hospital.
If your child or young adult or needs or would be more comfortable having their dental treatment accomplished in the hospital, please call one of our 7 dental offices for additional information.
It is preferable, but not always possible, to see the patient in the office for an evaluation to get an idea of the amount of operating room time needed, etc.
